Dear Professor,

Hope you are doing well. I wrote to you on June 22, 2020, and I know you are working on my request. Though my repeated emails may bother you, but I hope you will take these annoyances with clemency and compassion.

Today, I’m writing to you again because some new things have come to my notice. I have a valid F1 visa, which will expire on 28 July 2020 and the USA consulate office of Bangladesh as on June 6, 2020, has kept closed all of its Visa interview processing. They said they will resume but couldn't confirm any date.

But I have an opportunity as I have a valid F1 visa until 28 July 2020 and I learned that anyone with a valid F1 visa can still enter into the USA. So, I thought if I can enter into the USA before 28 July (before the visa expiration) that will be a great benefit for me. I also wrote to the USA Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to double-check my information.

I will need I-20 in my hand to do that and the international office will require Bank’s statement showing the availability of the required amount of funds, which is $39,000 for tuition, living, and dependents.

Primarily, I can show this amount taking loans from friends and family, but literally I will not have that much money for my support. So, I will surely need assistantship.

I can only move with such a step if you think it is an idea and there will be any opportunity of Graduate/Teaching or Research Assistantship at the beginning of fall 2020.

Ed.D. in Leadership Studies (Admitted for fall 2021)

Dear Professor,

Hope you are doing well. This is Kafi, I graduated from the Creighton University, USA in Master of Accounting in 2017, did MBA and BBA in accounting from Rajshahi University Bangladesh.

While I was pursuing my Masters in the USA I have acquainted the anatomy of brain and its chemical such as the Skull, the frontal lobes, the partial lobes, the temporal lobes, the occipital lobes, prefrontal cortex, amygdala, hippocampus, thalamus, serotonin, dopamine, GABA etc. as course content of a multidisciplinary course to learn the impact of brain’s decision making patterns. I learned some fraudsters’ brain patterns and compassionate leaders’ brains too in that course.

Since then I was in a try whether any university will me to pursue neuroscience and mental health to dig in the deep to enrich my knowledge about the brain and its functions.

I’m interested to conduct deeper research on decision making factors of brain, anxiety, mood swings, depression, bipolar depression, schizophrenia, cognitive thinking factors, Alzheimer, dementia, Panic disorders, neuroinflammation, brain development, eating disorders, substance abuse/ addiction, pain, and sleep apnea. Then I ultimately want to pursue my Ph.D.

I have had chat with Amber Lapointe, Student Program Administrator, Neuroscience & Mental Health Institute (NMHI). He recommended me to convince a professor first, who will agree to supervise me and sanction/manage the fund to cover tuition and living expenses.

I would appreciate if you could get a look at my resume and give necessary suggestions for admission as a Master's student to the interdisciplinary program. If I get admission to the Master program, then after completion the program I will surely go for a Ph.D. degree as I want to settle my career researcher and academician.
